A unique offering
Traditional rooms, whole apartments or beds in an alpine refuge – the Locanda del Silenzio is all this and more. We offer a different, unique style of hospitality; a hotel spread over several sites – the first and only accommodation accredited as such in the Maira Valley – born out of a patient and painstaking renovation of that which previously existed in order to give rise to a modern facility, offering you a comfortable stay in a typically alpine environment. A new model of tourist hospitality that is based on the idea of enabling guests to experience life in an authentic and characteristic alpine village, where the alleyways take the place of cold hotel corridors. Created from the renovation of old houses, the rooms combine functionality and comfort with respect for tradition and history.

In the mountains everything taste different
Genuine mountain produce, a cuisine inspired by the seasonality of the products, the most local ingredients (wherever possible) transformed into dishes in keeping with Occitan and Piedmontese traditions yet with innovations that will tickle your tastebuds. Here, the pleasure of sitting at the table goes beyond that of the food; conviviality, warmth and passion are ingredients that are always present at our table; accompanied, should you so wish, by one of the more than 100 wines that we have carefully selected.
